Dafydd Wyn Morgan has been walking the trails of the Cambrian Mountains since he was a youngster. He knows the trails of Pumlumon Fawr intimately having spent time on the mountain across all hours of the day and all seasons of the year.
In 2018 he established these five routes to the summit with support from Clwb Cerdded Tregaron, Clwb Cerdded Pontarfynach and Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team.
In fact he arranged five separate walks across the year, The Pumlumon Fawr Challenge to raise much needed for the local search and rescue team.
Here's one of Dafydd's favourite routes to the summit, The Caradoc Jones Trail.
Dafydd makes the most of the ever growing band of local guides to assist
him with guiding walkers up these five trails, so you'll get the chance to meet other experienced walk leaders too.
After your walk on Pumlumon Fawr or any of the other trails, Dafydd will take you to one of his favourite apres-walk watering holes for some tea and cake
or even a plateful of freshly cooked food.
If you're looking to climb Pumlumon Fawr in the Cambrian Mountains be it on your own
or as a member of a larger group, just give Dafydd a call on 01974 298150.
Contact him to discuss your requirements.
Breakfasts, bar meals and afternoon tea can be arranged for after these walks.
